Father
Beunen,who was a Dutch Vincentian Priest,encountered many mentally handicapped
children when he was a parish priets in Mother of God Church in Tien-Mu,Taipei.
Those children were neglected. On December 28,1972 Father Beunen built Saint
Anne's Home with the financial support of the Church and generous donors. In
March 2001, at the time of the 30th anniversary,the Vincentains established
Father Beunen Social Services Foundation in memory of his work for the children
with mental disability. It aims to provide social services for full wholesome
development.
Mission
"Whatever you do to
the least of my brothers that you do unto me". We are dedicated to provide for
mentally disabled persons physical,emotional and spiritual care with the spirit
of the Gospel.
