History and Mission

Beunen Foundation was established to continue the selfless dedication of Fr. Gerard Beunen for the welfare of those who are most weak and abandoned as taught through the example of St. Vincent de Paul when he (Fr. Beunen) founded St. Anne’s Home in 1972 to take care of those abandoned children with mental and physical disabilities. In order to serve more, the Congregation of the Mission formally established Beunen Foundation in 2001 for people with mental and physical disabilities, for elderly and the most weak in the society. The foundation has received excellent rating from the government since 2005.
